With a musical fireworks display in colossal format we almost reached the top of the world’s largest and finest fireworks display contest, “L’International des Feux Loto-Quebec” held for the 32nd year.
A jury of 19 people assess criteria such as music sync, colors and technical perfection. The theme was “Joie de Vivre” and was praised for being a well-executed theme with a strong and varied soundtrack, creative design and very good quality of the plays. Ricasa from Spain won by a whisker, thanks to a massive and complex show with no less than 8000 pieces.
Martin and fireworks factory has been on the race in Montreal three times. The last time was in 2010, when we also won a Silver Jupiter. In total, the fireworks factory has now won 25 gold medals and numerous other prizes in various competitions around the world.
We sent a team of 10 people and with the help of a 15-man strong local team we rigged the fireworks in 5 days.
The fireworks contain over 5000 individual pieces.
