Oslo Opera House grand opening
It was a complex job with three different shooting sites including a boat, an island and a 400-meter dock.
The solution to simultaneous firing on all sited was using two firing systems. We used our PyroDigital system on the dock, while Engelsrud-NFI shot the bigger shells from the island and boat with their Galaxis wireless system.
We think It was a great opportunity to make such a complex show at this exciting location. Adding to the scenery did the great sailing ship Stadsraad Lehmkuhl, lit in red, anchored off the Opera house. And of course the Opera house itself, a beautiful creation from the famous and uncompromising Snøhetta architects.
The show was started on a countdown from the National Norwegian Television command centre, and was a part of the official TV broadcast.
